Neils has completed a diploma in geography as well
as Master of Environmental Sciences from the University of Latvia. His main
job and qualification is strategic management of the company and project
management of big regional development projects. His 15-year experience
includes preparation of strategy documents and regional development plans at
national, regional and local level and managing public and stakeholders
involvement in relation to those projects, preparation and implementation of
regional development projects, including cross border projects and projects
financed by international donors like the EU and World Bank. He is a very
effective moderator and original thinker.
Liga Ozolina – Senior project manager
Liga has diploma in social work as well as Master’s
degree in Public Administration. She specialises in project management of
bigger and more complex projects in the field of spatial planning, regional
development, e-government. She has extensive knowledge of the spatial
planning and regional development system and experience and a wide network of
contact in Latvian municipalities and planning-related institutions. She has
excellent working knowledge of English and Russian.
Lolita Cace – planner /
architect
Lolita has a diploma in architecture and prior to
Grupa 93, she has held high public administration posts in the field of
spatial planning. Her main specialisation is preparing building regulations
within spatial and detailed plans as well as work on the projects related to
the spatial planning system of Latvia.
Sarmite Lesina – planner / senior
project manager
Sarmite has a diploma in Geography and pursuing her
Masters in Spatial planning in the Latvian University. She has more than
10-year experience in managing spatial planning projects of various scale and
now specialises in managing larger detailed planning projects as well as
contributes to the work on planning system in Latvia.
Anita Beikule – planner / project manager
Anita acquired Bachelor and Master of Science in
Environmental Science from the University of Latvia. She has 4-year
experience with Grupa 93 in managing medium-complexity planning projects as
well participating as a planner and researcher in more complex projects. One
of her specialisations is assessment of social infrastructure.
Kristine Casno – planner / project manager
Kristine has Bachelor of Sciences degree in Regional
Development and Management from Latvian Agriculture University. She has 6
year of experience in managing planning projects as well as a planner and researcher
in more complex projects.
Ronalds Krumins – CAD/GIS expert
Ronalds has a diploma in Geography
from Latvian University. He has more than 14 years of experience in GIS / map
preparation in various planning projects as well as illustration work for
maps and publications, mastering Bentley AutoCAD, ESRI ArcView, and Adobe
Illustrator. Combined with high analytical skills, his experience creates
high added value for planning projects.
Algirts Lauzdauskis – CAD/GIS/3D expert
Algirts has a diploma in Arts from the State Arts
Academy. For the last 8 years, he specialises in MicroStation and Adobe
Illustrator software and prepares maps / drawing for detailed plans, spatial
plans, nature protection plans as well as 3D modelling with formZ. His
artistic education combined with technical work experience produces high
quality and user-friendly maps.
Viesturs Laivins – GIS expert
Viesturs has Master of Science degree in Geography
(Natural Sciences) and is pursuing Bachelor Degree in Culture History. He has
4 year experience in preparing maps in ESRI ArcView for spatial plans, nature
protection plans and other development projects.
Martins Upmanis – IT / web / marketing manager
Martins has a Master in Business Administration with
a focus on E-business. For more than 7 years he has been working with IT
issues in Grupa 93. His
input is IT idea development connected with services offered by company.
Alevtina Mosijenko – office administrator
Alevtina has Bachelor degree in
computer design and works as an office administrator. She keeps all the
official documentation of the company and develops the filing system.
Yuri has a Bachelor degree in Economics and Business
as well as Masters degree in Environmental Science (Lund University). His
experience and expertise is very multi-disciplinary including economics,
business administration, environmental protection and sustainability,
infrastructure planning and construction. He mainly works with detailed
planning project and a range of business development projects.
Marita Nikmane – environmental
expert
Marita has a diploma in Biology and Chemistry as well as MSc in
Environmental Engineering. She has 14 year experience in public and private
sector as an expert on environmental protection issues (pollution control and
prevention, environmental regulation, EIA). Marita now works with
environmental issues relevant for planning projects (green areas,
contaminated sites, air quality modelling etc).
Lasma Ledina – planner / architect
Lasma is a certified architect (Riga Technical
University) and is pursuing her Master of Spatial planning degree at the
moment. Prior to Grupa 93 she had worked for 15 years in various architects
bureaus on design of commercial, residential and public buildings. She uses
this experience in a range of spatial planning projects.
