Strenči Municipality Development Programme 2013 – 2019 was approved on 16.05.2013.
Development programme for the municipality with a population of 4,054 (CSB 01.01.2013) and an area of 376 km2 including two parishes and Strenču and Seda towns.
The programme includes an analysis of current situation in sectoral and territorial perspective, strategic content, including action and investment plan preparation. During the process, public participation and public consultation was organized and managed in cooperation with “Ideju Talka” Ltd.
Most important issues were: creation of attractive, affordable and accessible residences, local resource-based employment, national level unique mental health centre.
