Jurmala City Development Strategy 2030

Development of strategy for a city (area of 100 km2, 55 thousand inhabitants). Discussions and extensive public consultation were organized and managed. Resort development and diversified business development were established as development priorities (two out of three). As a result, a detailed study was done on the city’s economy situation, including resort services sector and tourism, trade, industry and business environment. Activities were identified for business development in Jurmala. A number of working groups with the participation of entrepreneurs were organized, as well as a roundtable discussion with the participation of businessmen and Jurmala council professionals.
